The arrival of their next challenger isn't something that surprises her, but rather, piques her interest. As a trainer who specialised in fire and electric types, seeing fairy types sure wasn't part of her day to day choice of activities. Sure, she had a few fairies of her own but she'd never quite delved into the various species of fairies out there.

Grimmsnarl didn't seem like the kind to fit the description of those in the bedtime stories. Then again, Mimikyus and Hatterenes had violent tendencies of their own when prodded in the wrong way...

grimmsnarl's bigger, stonger, and likely more experienced. it makes danny feel a bit guilty but he pushes the feeling aside for later. right now, he needs to focus up.

Were they... flattering Sunny? Eris doesn't quite understand what they're up to and the Espurr seems just as Confused, not knowing whether to strike the Grimmsnarl or leave him be. In its confusion, Sunny messes up yet another Fake Out, tripping over himself and slamming face first into the ground. And that seems to be enough to knock the little cat out, the previous abrasions from their match beginning to catch up to him.

Hopping into the arena, Eris is quick to sweep the Espurr into her arms, gently combing through messy fur before recalling him into his pokeball.

"He'll still need to work on a few more things, but he's definitely done great for one of his first matches! You and Grimmsnarl did really well too!"
